Featuring flexible tubes in the front section, this Link Pipe Set (SS) eliminates the catalytic converters of the standard stock exhaust, allowing more direct gas flow compared to a Ferrari 296 GTB equipped with a standard stock system. Tests conducted by Akrapovič engineers in comparison with vehicles with a standard stock exhaust and an Akrapovič Slip-On Race Line (Titanium) exhaust with the Link Pipe Set (SS) produced lower back pressure from the Akrapovič setup, offering a performance upgrade potential with mandatory ECU remapping. This Link Pipe Set (SS) combined with the Slip-On Race Line (Titanium) gives the entire system an exhilarating sound experience with a raw and powerful growl in the lower rev range that develops into a thrilling high-frequency racing sound.
