The upper rim is decorated with gilded Crowns, Fleur-de-Lis and Tudor Roses, while the lower rim depicts the Coat of Arms of England with London in the center.

Due to the dark background color, the reliefs seem to be shining. The overall picture is completed by a decorated Pewter Lid.
